The 2025 Global NCD Alliance Forum built on the success and legacy of the previous ones held in 2015, 2017 and 2020 in Sharjah, UAE, under the patronage of Her Highness Sheika Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Founder and Royal Patron of Friends of Cancer Patients (FoCP). Following a break necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic, 2025 marked the 4th Global NCD Alliance Forum and the first Forum to take place in sub-Saharan Africa.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

El Foro de 2020 se organiz\u00f3 bajo el lema \u201cCerrar la brecha\u201d, con miras a acelerar los esfuerzos mundiales para traducir los compromisos y la ret\u00f3rica pol\u00edtica en medidas concretas con su implementaci\u00f3n a nivel nacional y local. El Foro se centr\u00f3 en tres dinamizadores clave de cambio para cerrar las brechas en la respuesta a las ENT: acelerar pol\u00edticas y soluciones transformadoras, generar demanda de acci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de movimientos sociales y con voces de cambio, y mejorar la rendici\u00f3n de cuentas a trav\u00e9s de una gobernanza transformadora e inclusiva.<\/p>

Un resultado notable fue el documento de debate Bridging the Gap: From global promises to local progress<\/a> que describi\u00f3 las brechas prioritarias en la respuesta a las ENT para la incidencia, dando forma a los temas de la Semana Mundial de Acci\u00f3n de la Alianza de ENT desde entonces.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

En 2017, el Foro se reuni\u00f3 justo antes de la tercera reuni\u00f3n de alto nivel de las Naciones Unidas sobre las ENT en 2018. Bajo el tema \u201cAcelerar el ritmo de las ENT: hacer que 2018 cuente\u201d, sus objetivos eran generar consenso sobre las prioridades de incidencia para la pr\u00f3xima RAN, facilitar la planificaci\u00f3n de campa\u00f1as y fortalecer la capacidad de la red de ENT.<\/p>

Los subtemas incluyeron la incidencia por la prevenci\u00f3n y el control de las ENT, la eliminaci\u00f3n de la atenci\u00f3n compartimentalizada y el intercambio de herramientas y estrategias para la incidencia y la movilizaci\u00f3n. Un resultado importante fue el establecimiento de las prioridades de campa\u00f1a de la Alianza de ENT para la RAN de 2018 sobre las ENT.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Incidencia y rendici\u00f3n de cuentas en la era post-2015<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

El Foro inaugural en 2015 marc\u00f3 un momento crucial en la convocatoria de la comunidad de ENT y la sociedad civil, luego de la adopci\u00f3n de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de la ONU, que inclu\u00edan las ENT como una meta. Bajo el tema \u201cIncidencia y rendici\u00f3n de cuentas en la era post-2015\u201d, el Foro tuvo como objetivo incidir por las ENT dentro de la agenda de desarrollo sostenible y reuni\u00f3 a las alianzas nacionales y regionales por primera vez. Los subtemas abarcaron la incidencia y la rendici\u00f3n de cuentas, el desarrollo organizacional y las asociaciones para el \u00e9xito. Un resultado significativo fue la formulaci\u00f3n de la Declaraci\u00f3n de Sharjah, que subray\u00f3 el compromiso de la sociedad civil de las ENT de apoyar la agenda de los ODS.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
