Community-led monitoring: relevance for advocates

This session will provide an opportunity for Forum participants to learn about community-led monitoring – what it is, why it is relevant in the context of NCDs and the broader UHC agenda, and to learn about the principles of community-led monitoring (e.g. community driven and owned, independent and ethical, driven by a clarity of purpose). The session will be a unique opportunity to hear from advocates who have experience supporting community-led monitoring initiatives in their communities and the importance of having community-owned data for advocacy purposes.
