Here, deaths from NCDs are on the increase and are expected to surpass HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis, and maternal mortality as the leading cause of death by 2030. In Rwanda specifically, NCDs were responsible for 50% of total deaths in 2022, according to the World Health Organization.<\/p><p>Pourtant, le Rwanda s'est positionn\u00e9 comme un mod\u00e8le de progr\u00e8s en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 et de MNT, tant dans la r\u00e9gion qu'au niveau mondial. Il a ouvert la voie \u00e0 des r\u00e9formes reconnues en mati\u00e8re de couverture sanitaire universelle, mis en \u0153uvre sa Strat\u00e9gie nationale 2020-2025 sur les MNT et d\u00e9centralis\u00e9 les soins des MNT vers les \u00e9tablissements de sant\u00e9.<\/p><p>Son approche holistique et multisectorielle rassemble les minist\u00e8res responsables du sport, de l'alimentation et de la nutrition, du commerce, de l'environnement, de l'\u00e9ducation et des collectivit\u00e9s locales, tout en renfor\u00e7ant les capacit\u00e9s des travailleurs de la sant\u00e9 de premi\u00e8re ligne, afin de soutenir les investissements \u00e0 long terme pour un avenir plus sain.<\/p><p>Hosting the Forum in Rwanda was an opportunity to promote good practice and leadership on NCDs, as well as building momentum on NCDs within the region.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6044da2 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"6044da2\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a4277ec elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a4277ec\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Kigali<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-22f2a3c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"22f2a3c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Le Rwanda est dot\u00e9 d'une biodiversit\u00e9 extraordinaire, avec une faune et une flore incroyables qui vivent dans ses volcans, ses for\u00eats tropicales de montagne et ses vastes plaines.<\/p><p>Sa capitale verdoyante, Kigali, r\u00e9put\u00e9e pour sa s\u00e9curit\u00e9, est dynamique et progressiste, avec un peu plus d'un million d'habitants. La capitale rwandaise est class\u00e9e par l'Association internationale des congr\u00e8s et des conventions (ICCA) comme la deuxi\u00e8me destination la plus populaire en Afrique pour l'accueil de conf\u00e9rences et d'\u00e9v\u00e9nements internationaux.<\/p><p>The Forum was hosted at the iconic Kigali Convention Centre (KCC) \u2013 one of the largest conference and events spaces in the region.
