Coalition building for impact

This session will highlight the critical role of coalition building in enabling civil society to tackle NCDs. Through experience-sharing, CLAS and the Cambodian NCD Alliance (CNCDA) will share strategies, insights and best practices on how to work and advocate as an alliance. CNCDA will share their journey as a national alliance, challenges and successes. CLAS will share their regional alliance experience, how they support national organisations to advocate on NCD risk factors and how they serve as a regional hub for experience sharing amongst advocates. Both alliances will be sharing lessons learned and opportunities ahead for advocating on NCDs. By the end of the session, participants will gain valuable insights into how CLAS and CNCDA are advancing impactful policies to improve public health across the Americas and Cambodia.
