Get ready for Kigali
The Forum will gather over 500 participants to improve NCD prevention and care for people living with noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) by playing a convening role for civil society and key stakeholders in the NCD community. As NCDA’s flagship convening platform, it is held biennially to promote knowledge exchange, share good practice and strengthen capacity to advocate for prevention and control of NCDs globally. The fourth edition will offer a prime opportunity to unite and mobilise civil society ahead of the next UN High Level Meeting on NCDs in 2025.
“We are delighted that the Forum will take place in Africa for the first time. This unique event will bring together the NCD community from around the world to unite in advocating for what works to put a brake on NCDs. It will offer a global platform to highlight local and regional leadership and stimulate collective action to further the NCD response.”

The fourth Global NCD Alliance Forum is possible thanks to a grant from The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust, our primary supporter of this event.
The 2024 Forum will build off the success and legacy of the previous ones held in 2015, 2017 and 2020 in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, under the patronage of Her Highness Sheika Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Founder and Royal Patron of Friends of Cancer Patients (FoCP).
