Innovative financing: The power and potential to unlock more funding for NCDs in resource-constrained settings
What can innovative financing mean for NCDs?
This Novo Nordisk, IFPMA, and MedAccess session will foster dialogue on practical approaches to tackling financing gaps for NCDs, spotlighting on-the-ground solutions and local implementation models that unlock resources for NCD prevention and control.
The session aims to provide more detailed insights into how practitioners, particularly those based in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), are coming up with a variety of achievable, scalable financing mechanisms to obtain financing for NCDs.
At the same time, the session will also touch upon how we could look to other sectors – both within and beyond health – to identify win-wins that could unlock further financing for NCDs.
Months out from the 2025 UN HLM on NCDs, it is time to catalyze change in the NCD financing space. To reach our shared ambitions of reducing the burden of NCDs on people, communities, and economies, we need to identify new ways to unlock funding – and work together to implement them.
This session will include a breakout discussion for full participation of the audience. The event will be closed once all seats are taken and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
