Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Public Health program focuses efforts in low- and middle-income cities to help save millions of lives by spreading solutions that have been proven to work. Mike Bloomberg serves as the World Health Organization’s Global Ambassador for Noncommunicable Diseases and Injuries. In this role, he works to draw attention to and rally efforts to address the growing burden of noncommunicable diseases and injuries.
