Closing the NCD and mental health financing gap: Next steps from the WHO/World Bank Second International Financing Dialogue on NCDs

This session will highlight outstanding issues and next steps for civil society arising from the International Dialogue for the Sustainable Financing of NCDs and Mental Health. The session will open with a short presentation summarising the key takeaways from the Dialogue, before moving into a panel discussion on the issues with policymakers, civil society and lived experience speakers. Moving into breakout groups, participants will discuss in more depth the challenges for sustainable financing of NCDs and mental health and be invited to come up with priorities for the HLM on NCDs in 2025. The session will end with a plenary and wrap up highlighting opportunities for civil society to influence the HLM to ensure stronger commitments and more action around financing.
