Mobilising for change: catalysing a social movement to address obesity

Addressing the obesity epidemic requires a multifaceted approach beyond traditional interventions. Social movements have a proven track record of driving transformative change by mobilizing communities, shaping public opinion, and influencing policy. The session’s co-created agenda by World Obesity members and allies, the engagement and sharing of experiences, within and beyond NCD advocacy, will help catalyze a groundswell of support for obesity prevention and management efforts and empower individuals to champion their communities and effect change.
