Community Zone Programe coming soon

In addition to the main programme, sessions will also be running in the Community Zone – a pavilion next to the KCC conference centre which will be a vibrant and lively area for NCD civil society and the community to network, promote and showcase best practice, and strategise.

The Community Stage will feature interactive sessions showcasing solutions, innovations and lessons learnt from across civil society and communities. Sessions will focus around three areas:

  1. campaigning for change – examples of pioneering national and regional advocacy campaigns that have made a difference to NCD policy, sharing lessons learnt and successes;
  2. community approaches to leave no one behind – examples of community-led approaches to improve NCD care and prevention and reaching the most marginalized populations;
  3. coalition building for impact – examples of effective coalitions, engaging new voices/actors in the NCD response.

The Community Stage programme will be available in September.
